Unlike blackBox, restrictBox is supported for use by non-UW sites. restrictBox has finer control of restriction (separate settings for restricting access to absolute paths and other users). blackBox has certain magic that is uniquely for UW internal use, and which from time to time generates flames that it is "wrong" or a "bug. restrictBox does not have this magic. Nobody outside of UW should use blackBox. In the near future, UW won't use it either and the blackBox code will be removed. -- Mark -- http://staff.washington.edu/mrc Science does not emerge from voting, party politics, or public debate.
