Hi,
I installed the RPM for IMAPD from RedHat.com site. They are the RPMS that come with RedHat 7.3. I am using Mandrake 8.2. I installed the rpm package using --nodeps since it was asking me for libcrypt... and libssl.. to be installed. After the installation the completed I ran imapd but the server could not start, the error is "error while loading shared librariy : libssl.so.2. I tried to install the openssl package and libopenssl but there are problems with that installation too. I just want a basic IMAP server, there is not need for secure loging or any such features. Please help if you can. Thanks in advance.
