So, they are non-compliant. And, heh, -

is not compliant, either :-) So, as you can see as developers we are more in 
agreement with you than you might think.

But now I'm wearing the same hat that you can see on those boring and 
terribly stupid "formal methematicians". I'm reading the docs and I'm trying 
to interpret those docs, and I'm presenting my interpretation. Even if it 
disagrees with the "common sense". Even if it disagrees with my own crippled 
"sense".

If the docs disagree with all those senses, the docs should me changed, but 
that's another story.
