Sad to think of that...
The current procedure is that the documents proceed to the RFC Editor queue.
One the RFC Editor has processed the documented they contact the author(s) for
a final review pass. The RFC-to-be is made available to the authors at that
time; the authors can make changes if any are needed. The ADs are copied on all
of this and will assist if process issues arise.
Bottom line is that you need do nothing until the RFC Editor contacts you.
At that point a careful review of what they've produced is definitely
in order. This is especially true for complex docs.

P.S. If you've used nroff to produce your internet-draft it sometimes helps the
RFC editor to give them your nroff sources after the document approval is
announced.
