I am having some problems with UW imapd. I've recompiled it a few times now.
I have also tipple checked that I created my ssl keys properly.

After importing the key into windows. Outlook Express gives me the
following error when connecting to the imapd server:

The certificate's CN name does not match the passed value.

My question is, where does imapd obtain the CN name and how is it possible
for it too wrong?

Below are the two commands I used to create my keys if that helps any:
openssl req -new -x509 -nodes -out imapd.pem -keyout imapd.pem -days 3650
openssl x509 -in imapd.pem -outform DER -out imapd.der

I located this mailing list post on another list that is very similar to my
problem:

Any help is appreciated
