Just saw the above draft appear. I think this problem has already been solved for the most part by having domain information expressed in authentication ids. I did not understand the comment in the draft about 'domain in auth-id' creating a 'single level list' and why that is a problem. Can you explain in more detail the benefits that VHOST offers over the 'domain in auth-id' approach? Its worth noting that 'domain in auth-id' works right now without requiring modifications to any clients, whereas VHOST would require client support.
