Hello,
maybe the question is trivial or misplaced in this forum; if so I would
be grateful if somebody points me in the right direction.
I want to access access to out (UW) imap server on a per-user basis from
the "outside"; i.e. when accessing it form "anywhere". The aim is to run
an imap server with unrestricted access on the internal net while
allowing SSL access to certain users only via the external network
connection. I could use a second passwd file or so; but I wanted to
check if there is already a solution out there. (I can restrict access
with inetd on a network basis, but then I still have users with their
first name set as their password which never ever use the external
connection).
Any ideas ?
Yours, Jakob Curdes
