If you experience problems on a regular base it can be useful to create an IMAP log. You can do this by clicking Tools - Options and the Maintenance tab. On the bottom under troubleshooting you'll see the different types of logfiles you can create. Select IMAP to make an IMAP log and click Apply and Ok.
"In order to find this logfile click Start - Find - Files or Folders and then perform a search on your harddisk for the IMAP4.log file that resides somewhere in your Windows directory. You can open and save this file with Notepad."
