Can't nmake c-client libraries

I have XP, C++ and have downloaded the latest library. However, when I run nmake I always get these errors.   Auth_gss.c(184) : error c2065: ‘sec_e_cert_expired’ : undeclared identifier   Auth_gss.c(184) : error c2051: case expression not constant   Any ideas?   Thanks,   Faron
