Hello, I would like to not use /etc/passwd for authentication. I have been reading the docs and I see the in the prescence of /etc/cram-md5 5ha5 this file will be used instead. I am imagining that this method does not scale well. We need to be able to be able to scale to 10K users. Can someone give me some feedback or perhaps point me to a resource in order to accomplish authenticating users to Mysql or Oracle. I would be curious if anybody is using a linear password lookup like the cram-md5 for large scale users??? I know somebody must be doing a DB style auth with UW Imap. Again thank you in advance.
