Local users and Virtual users
Can I configure the imap server to have different users from the system users ? (virtual users) I mean, can I authenticate the users with MD5 or APOP, but they are not in the /etc/passwd /etc/shadow files but each of them have it's own mailbox (ex: /var/spool/imap/user1 /var/spool/imap/user2), without the need to do: ueradd ppp passwd ppp etc, etc, Thanks. --- Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free.
