Second try, I missed the "Reply to all" button and only replied to Cyrus D.
I've become somewhat absent minded of late...at least the landlord hasn't
hung up a vacancy sign yet.  Not that I've noticed anyway.

How about "$$" was the vendor prefix?  It isn't as verbose as "$vendor." and
doesn't require picking a new prefix character.
