Oops, I meant that RFC 1939 has a normative reference to RFC 1734. It
also has a reference to RFC 1730 but I guess that we could argue that that
is informative. RFC 1939 is before the days when references were formally
labelled as normative and informative.
Does that mean that it's time to update the POP3 specification again?
