I started my last message by typing something like "this is brief and 
simplified; see the grammar for the full and exact truth". But then I 
got carried away and by the time I hit send, it was easy to be misled. 
Sorry.

What I wrote is a useful rule of thumb for a client, but the description 
of the body is NOT accurate. In this, as in all grammar matters, both 
client and server authors should look at the grammar.
