-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hi !
I was wondering if it was possible to authenticate against a NIS database with imap/pop. I have a server which runs a NIS client and server, with users in the NIS database, not the regular /etc/passwd file. I can login at the shell prompt as a regular NIS user with no problem, but when I want to authenticate against imapd, I get the following error: imapd: Login disabled user=username auth=username host=myserver.com What did I do wrong ? Thanks in advance.
