Prelude: I know I could probably get this from the UW source, but I'm
making a virtue of being as lazy as possible these days, with the aim of
actually getting some work done... *sigh*.

Is there a kind soul out there who could send me some working code to
convert strings to and from the IMAP "Modified UTF-7" format? All I
really need is the modified BASE64 converter - I can do the actual
character conversions without any trouble.

If all else fails, I can convert my existing BASE64 routines to do this job,
but the change in padding means I'd have to get involved in more
testing than I currently have time for, so I'm hoping I can circumvent this
through the assistance of others.

Thanks in advance to anyone willing to help me out.

Cheers!
