Hello,

I'm in the process of testing a little embedded IMAP server which is part of a P2P messaging system and... I was wandering if there is an "official conformance test suite" anywhere which could assist me with uncovering any protocol related glitches in a more or less systematic way?

RFC 2683 "IMAP4 Implementation Recommendations", "3.5 A Word About Testing" provides a good piece of advise: "Test against EVERYTHING."... but this is still a very, er, "adhoc" way of testing a server implementation... is there a more formal and systematic way to ensure "conformance"?

TIA.

Cheers,

PA.
