Lets say "it should". :-)

This is the situation: IMDbPY (thats true only if you're _not_ setting
adultSearch to False) uses an IMDb's account to access the imdb.com
web site.  That account was set to use the old layout, so all the
parsers should works.

That's strange.  From some fast tests, I can see it's working ok (both
searching and movie/person retrieving).
Can you be more precise?  What's exactly broken?  Can you provide
a short test?

Are you sure you've not a proxy/webcache in the middle, which is
crunching out cookies?

I've just release vesion 2.9 (exactly the same in the cvs) :-/
I should learn to read emails _before_ releasing software... :-)

It will be the last one to use the account set to the old layout;
to have a 3.0 release with support with the new design, some (a lot?)
of time will be needed, I fear.
