At a first glance, yes.  I follow IMDb's own classification for
'movies', 'tv series', 'tv movie', 'video movie', 'tv mini series'
and 'video game' - plus I've introduced 'episode' for episodes
of tv (mini) series.

And so:
  Pretty/Handsome (2008) (TV) -> tv movie
  Stargate: Continuum -> video movie
  East Bound and Down -> tv movie

They are not series (after all they don't have a list of episodes).

Those information are relevant only for tv (mini) series.

By the way, doing these tests I've noticed a bug: "tv mini series"
are identified as "tv series". :-/
I hope to fix it very soon.
