A very good idea, indeed; it's the same thing I've done adapting
SQLAlchemy to the API of SQLObject.

Yup - both packages are mature enough and their API looks stable,
so I don't foresee any problems.

Within days/weeks I plan to remove the old set of parsers (to
clean the code a bit, if nothing else).
As said, if someone is still using them, I'd prefer to know.
