Hi all, Timo Schulz pointed me to a problem with plain text data files: since last week, it seems that _every_ reference to movies changed from 'Title, The' to 'The Title'.
This is a serious problem: as it is, imdbpy2sql.py assumes to have titles in the canonical ('Title, The') style. A fix would be easy, but it will create a lot of minor nuisances (basically: IMDbPY can turn a title from a format to another, but it _guesses_ which part of the title is the article, and this is prone to errors). I've already filed a bug report to IMDb, in the hope they will fix it on their side. Within 1 or 2 weeks, the problem will be solved in one way or another. :-) Bye, -- Davide Alberani <davide.alber...@gmail.com> [PGP KeyID: 0x465BFD47] http://erlug.linux.it/~da/ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Stay on top of everything new and different, both inside and around Java (TM) technology - register by April 22, and save $200 on the JavaOne (SM) conference, June 2-5, 2009, San Francisco. 300 plus technical and hands-on sessions.
