Hi all,
as of today, the 'local' data access system is no more in the SVN,
and trying to use it will raise an exception (no real reason to
issue a warning, since the whole code vanished from this universe :-)

I hope to have removed any reference to it, even in the documentation,
but something can be still here and there. I hope to have fixed the
installer properly, also. :-)

The imdb.parser.common package was also removed, and its code
moved to imdb.parser.sql (included a stripped-down version of cutils.c)
and in the imdbpy2sql.py script.

'local' was removed for a series of good reasons:
- the moviedb program was no more distributed by IMDb.
- the new format for movie titles ("The Title" instead of "Title, The")
created way too many problems almost impossible to fix, since a lot
of damage was done by the - never updated - moviedb program.
- it was slower and less complete than 'sql'.
- there were very few users of it.

Anyone who was still using it, should move to 'sql'.

As a bonus, the code/text is now 8375 lines shorter. :-)

Bye,
