Can anyone comment on using a local MySQL server on the Postfix box for the IMGate tables. I plan on keeping the MySQL local to the Postfix box.
Specifically, I'm wondering if it will add a big load on the box and if it will hold up long-term as we add more customer domains and the overall activity grows. I would like to use the MySQL tables to allow us easier managment of certain table and also allow customer to self-maintain certain data such as a relay_recipients table for their local servers. This way we can build a web interface and also store additional data such as the time and date added/updated and other notes. Thanks, Kevin Coveney
