One of my users has been getting quite a bit of "delivery failed"
messages, however, when I check IMGate is that the messages are
delivered.

I assume this is simply a warning message, but it seems odd that one
customer is getting so many since the final destination varies. They are
using SMTP auth on my IMGate box and Imail for POP.
