Hello all,

Ya'll were kind enough to post your thoughts on IMail to me at
[EMAIL PROTECTED]

We're looking for an alternative to Exchange.
(Linux or BSD solo is probably out of the question so it can be admin'd by
many folks)

We're evaluating IMail, and it isn't bad.
I feel it's Achillee's heel is Ditribution Lists,

On Exchange it's trivial to create and add an existing mailbox into a
ditribution list.
You can click on the mailbox, and under it's properties add/remove
distribution list memberships.
Imail simply calls these "Lists," BTW.

We have found it to need a handmade list or an import from a text file to
build these lists.

Do folks export to a text file all their users and regexp them to a format
for List management
or do this by hand?

How have most of you worked around this?

We need one list to mail EVERYONE, (Server maintenance windows, scheduled
downtimes, etc)
One list to mail each of our 7 campuses.
One list for each branch of the org chart, etc

We're not an ISP and that may be why are needs are little different than a
lot of folks on this list.

Other than that pretty slick and delivers on it's promises.

I would aks any replies be sent to me at
[EMAIL PROTECTED]

instead of Len's IMGate list

THANKS
-Austin
