The problem is that it doesn't even say postmaster@whatever, it just
says <postmaster>.  I guess I didn't compile something correctly.
Also, thanks for the FTP advice.  I think that is the way to go.

some people have done this by editing the c source code.  I don't know 
which source file it was.

The problem with this is that you have to modify the source code for
each 
new version or snapshot of postfix.

why not leave it as postmaster@whatever, and then alias or forward 
postmaster to support@blah?

They can learn an editor like ee or pico as being easier that vi.

or they can keep a copy of those files on their windows machines, edit 
there, and ftp it to IMGate. a cron job running every */15 could postmap

those two files, giving you a delay of only a few minutes.
