I have a friend who began using VopMail some time ago and he has been
pleased with it. He chose Vop mainly because of the database options
and the ability to run the web interface on IIS.

I considered them too when I first bought IMAIL and joined their
support list and had several messages with Vircom support. My
impression was very good on both issues.

However, you had to be careful on pricing because back then anyway you
had to buy several products and combine them to get everything Imail
offered in one program. Also, I found my ability to setup and manage
Imail was considerably faster than with Vop. But I did like the
product.

Vop spam filtering when I used it was good but no match for
Declude / Imgate / Imail.

If you have IMGATE I'm not quite certain what your main goal is in
looking at Vop. If you want additional off-server processing you
might consider http://www.dataenter.co.at/products/xwall.htm

If you're primarily concerned about price you might consider XMAIL
which is free and runs on MS or Linux and can be highly customized.
But takes some effort. http://www.xmailserver.org/
