In RH 8 & 9 they changed all the Perl libs and zillions of pointers to *.pm files. They also changed the Local or region settings from US to US-UTF and that can hose pflogsumm.
Some apps can handle it or need it. Some may not My RH9 IMgate Default config box cant toss *.exe's but can see the double extensions etc and kick them Im wondering if the above is related as they certainly impact the processing of Regular Expressions.
