The other machine seems to be screwed up (sending RSET junk for no reason) and then very slow to send the next command so postfix times out and hangs up. You'll have to increase postfix timeout SMTPD timeout so postfix waits long enough for the screwed machine to do something.
Len Thanks will do read about RSET but it wasnt obvious to me who called for the RSET command to run I didnt know it was the remote server THANKS -A
