yep, I've gotten into some funny situation with PERL, too. some PERL head=20 could tell you how to avoid this. >Also, the CPAN had used a LOT of disk space ( / partition ) and only clear >it after deleting the cache ( in the new reinstall :'( ) yes, so it's better not to let it work in the the user's dir, /root, but to= =20 have its workspace in /var or /usr, wherever ther is plenty of space.
