sometimes it's readable, sometimes not, in this case, not very readable,
but you might "man strace" and write the output to a file, so you can
"less" through it.
if there were timestamps on the lines, you could see the delays between the
log lines and see where all the time was being spent.
but I agree, what you see on the screen, is not very helpful.
