I'm running ClamAV on a Postfix mail server. It runs daemonized and has no problems handling 10,000 or so emails a day. I am currently using it with Debian, but have read in their newsgroup that there is a port for *BSD.
Their focus is on new email viruses, so their database isn't as "complete" as some of the commercial AV programs. They pushed out updates for MiMail before Frisk and Symantec did for their products. http://www.clamav.net/ Thanks, Mark -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Behalf Of Kenzo Sent: Tuesday, December 02, 2003 12:13 PM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: [IMGate] need AV I'm currently using RAV Antivirus for my IMGate box. Since Microsux bought them they are no longer supporting the product. I need to find a new Anti-Virus ASAP. I was looking at Sophos since I heard good things from them. I was wondering if anyone here is currently using "Puremessage" from them. http://www.sophos.com/products/pm/ Or what other good AV do you guys recoment for IMgate.
