Find out what changed on the mailbox server to cause it to go tits up.

All the usual IMail tuning/optimizing/troubleshooting tricks/suspects from 
the Imail list.  Not an easy problem, nor relevant to this list, more on 
the Imail list.

If it's only temporary, then Imgate will deliver eventually, if within 
max_queue_lifetime.

You could choke IMail sending down to one or two STMP processes in 
master.cf, perhaps with a clone of the smtp line

take the smpt line and copy it, then rename the first column:

imail

and then in the max column, put in 1 (default 100).

in transport.map, change the smtp:[ to imail:[

but it's probably better to fix imail than to "break" postfix.

that's not it.

Imail is overloaded. unload it, or buy a new box (still not guaranteed to 
work without all the tuning to the Max)
