Anyone know a way to make postfix satisfied with just the presence of a PTR
record and not verify a matching A record?
I didnt realize it was verifying A records until the past 2 days which I
have spent emailing about a dozen systems and creating exceptions to my
reject if unknown filter. Everyone of them when I look up manually does
infact have a PTR, but is missing the appropriate matching A record.
While its nice to have this verification i'm a little burdened. ( Started
requiring revdns across the board on Friday, unless the email comes from MX
or passes SPF, then I allow lack of revdns )
