I guess they figure that Monday morning is a good time to catch people 
"fresh" after the weekend.  I know legit marketers think along those lines.

At many of the IMGate boxes I admin, I see a very strong pattern of 
increase in mail volume during business hours, while the background level 
of abuse is 24x7.  But I don't that would be an effective way to decide if 
a msg is spam,   compared with other bases.
