it won't, as long as all of your legit machines send correct HELO, eg:

label.mlmuk.com

/(^mx1\.mlmuk\.com$)/ REJECT Illegal HELO hostname, "$1"

yes, this is standard practice

Also block any helo hostname that contain an ip address, yours or any other.
