I toke a look at Firefox 2.0.0.7 and I don't see what there is
to mis-configure.

Firefox 1.5.0.12 is old and If recal I also had no
problem with it.

If you have time,
include a picture in a word documents,
upload it to Horde/Imp with Firefox 2.0.0.7
and tell me what you get.
