You see, that is the problem; Nothing shows up in the mail log file when IMP "tries to log in". I have configured Horde to use IMAP authentication, and that works just fine, also, the imp/test/php works fine. It is only the IMP login page that have this behavior!
Logging in to Horde give this in my mail.debug file: Jun 22 19:45:44 lindhardsen imapd: Connection, ip=[::ffff:127.0.0.1] Jun 22 19:45:44 lindhardsen imapd: LOGIN, [EMAIL PROTECTED], ip=[::ffff:127.0.0.1], protocol=IMAP Jun 22 19:45:44 lindhardsen imapd: LOGOUT, [EMAIL PROTECTED], ip=[::ffff:127.0.0.1], headers=0, body=0, rcvd=38, sent=250, time=0 Using the test.php to verify my settings give this in mail.debug: Jun 22 19:49:27 lindhardsen imapd: Connection, ip=[::ffff:127.0.0.1] Jun 22 19:49:27 lindhardsen imapd: LOGIN, [EMAIL PROTECTED], ip=[::ffff:127.0.0.1], protocol=IMAP Jun 22 19:49:28 lindhardsen imapd: LOGOUT, [EMAIL PROTECTED], ip=[::ffff:127.0.0.1], headers=2710, body=0, rcvd=2055, sent=136272, time=1 Jun 22 19:49:28 lindhardsen imapd-ssl: couriertls: accept: error:14094418:SSL routines:SSL3_READ_BYTES:tlsv1 alert unknown ca Jun 22 19:49:28 lindhardsen imapd-ssl: Connection, ip=[::ffff:127.0.0.1] Jun 22 19:49:28 lindhardsen imapd-ssl: LOGIN, [EMAIL PROTECTED], ip=[::ffff:127.0.0.1], protocol=IMAP Jun 22 19:49:28 lindhardsen imapd-ssl: LOGOUT, [EMAIL PROTECTED], ip=[::ffff:127.0.0.1], headers=2710, body=0, rcvd=2055, sent=136283, time=0, starttls=1 Jun 22 19:49:28 lindhardsen imapd: Connection, ip=[::ffff:127.0.0.1] Jun 22 19:49:29 lindhardsen imapd: LOGIN, [EMAIL PROTECTED], ip=[::ffff:127.0.0.1], protocol=IMAP Jun 22 19:49:29 lindhardsen imapd: LOGOUT, [EMAIL PROTECTED], ip=[::ffff:127.0.0.1], headers=2710, body=0, rcvd=2055, sent=136283, time=0, starttls=1 Jun 22 19:49:29 lindhardsen imapd: Connection, ip=[::ffff:127.0.0.1] Jun 22 19:49:29 lindhardsen imapd: LOGIN, [EMAIL PROTECTED], ip=[::ffff:127.0.0.1], protocol=IMAP Jun 22 19:49:29 lindhardsen imapd: LOGOUT, [EMAIL PROTECTED], ip=[::ffff:127.0.0.1], headers=0, body=0, rcvd=96, sent=470, time=0 Logging in to IMP gives absolutely nothing in my mail.debug file. /Jan Craig White-6 wrote: > > I suppose that you could check the logs for you imap server to see what > is going wrong because it is failing. > > You can also always 'test' login by going to > http://your_server/horde/imp/test.php > > Craig > -- View this message in context: http://www.nabble.com/Login-failed---Groupware-Webmail-Edition-1.1-tp17832617p18057103.html Sent from the Horde - IMP mailing list archive at Nabble.com. -- IMP mailing list - Join the hunt: http://horde.org/bounties/#imp Frequently Asked Questions: http://horde.org/faq/ To unsubscribe, mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
