Hello,

Thanks so much for your suggestion, but, unfortunately editing conf.php did not alleviate the issue. However we have noticed some rather strange phenomena. We have a few users who are indeed able to access their folders in one browser but not another. For example, one user is able to access everything through Firefox but not in Internet Explorer. The same user cannot access any folders when logging in through Firefox on another computer. When I log in on the same machine, I am unable to access my folders in either browser. We have had a number of instances such as this. Does anyone have any suggestions as to the source of our problem? It does not seem that one browser is providing better results than another. We have users who can access every folder in their account through IE, Firefox, Chrome, and Safari.

As a matter of curiosity, does imp have any dependency on ingo? As I mentioned in the first email, we disabled ingo rather than trying to make it work for us, as no one in our organization uses the filter functionality.

Quoting Andrew Eells<[email protected]>:

Hello,

How can we administratively tell IMP to reload everyone's IMAP
folders list? We've upgraded recently, as described below, and
everything is working except for peoples' preexisting folders are
not showing up.

Webmail>managing folders>Rebuild Folder Tree doesn't seem to have
any effect, nor does "show unsubscribed folders". The Admin setup
option $confserver[cache][folders] check box in the administration
section of Horde does not work.

New folders created through IMP do show up. Both the old and new
folders are easily visible in Thunderbird or Outlook. Horde.log
doesn't report any errors.

In table horde_prefs, rows with pref_name = 'expanded_folders' seem
to be storing a cache of folder names for each user, but deleting
the row has no affect, good or bad.
Try deleting your Horde cache. The location will vary depending on
the backend - this is something configured in horde/config/conf.php.
