You are either sorting by arrival date, not message date, or you are
inside a virtual folder.
No, this is not inside a virtual folder. This is an imap folder.
I looked at the settings and I could not see a setting for sorting
w.r.t. the arrival date. Can you please tell me how to find out about
this?
The date header has a drop down menu.
I know I didn't purposely select such a thing related to date.
