Simon I renamed the conf.php files and removed turba so I could get back in to horde admin screen. Having done that I tried reinstalling turba and got an error for horde_share Removed turba again and I'm back to my start point with only the general tab for horde again. Peter A fatal error has occurred"" driver (for Horde_Share not found).
