Thank you for your reply. I appreciate any help, as I'm pretty stumped. Yes, I did. The imap server isn't reporting a connection being made. Nor does netstat, but it goes by pretty quickly. I guess I could try getting iptables to log it. I also tried getting the IMAP server listening on 127.0.0.1 to see if the default configuration would work. Same error. I'm suspicious because the logging is not generating a log file.
