2008-October Imperius Incubator status report

Imperius has been incubating since November 2007.

Imperius is a rule-based infrastructure management tool.

Web site:

Code: Development continues on the code base.

Community: Two new committers since the last report. (The CCLA
and ICLAs from Sun contributors have been received and
commit access is now set up for all initial contributors).
One new contributor contributed a patch via JIRA which was
committed.

Graduation is not on the table based on the size and diversity
of the community; and there has not been a release of code.

Sorry I didn't comment on this sooner... I don't think these concerns need to be communicated to the board, though they certainly could be...

I'm hopeful that with the new committers we'll start to see a marked increase in community interactions for the Imperius project. However, given current course and speed, I think it's unlikely that we're going to see a successful graduation. Hope I'm wrong. Do others share my concern?
