Thanks Joseph! I have tomcat running and all the prerequisites in place. It actually starts up the initial setup and I get to enter all the parameters needed for the installation. However, when it starts to setup, after creating the openmrs database user, it gives that exception. I then tried the same process installing it on my Windows 7 machine and also Windows XP, and I didn't have the same issue.
We have a local server in my office which is used for collaborations. We want to have an implementation of OpemMRS on it that we can work on. Wyclif made mention of runtime properties file. We have not edited anything at all. It is actually a new installation. Tried it also on a fresh Windows Server 2003 OS. I don't know if anyone has had same experience installing it on Windows Server. I still expect help in solving the situation and would appreciate that.
