As Paul's talk, and Toby's

So Paul and Toby know what it's like in Corvallis! (>1 = community here)
I am a nerd not a "community builder" but I am trying anyway because I
can't do it all alone. I prefer Python and PostGIS but having human help
will be good too.
Yesterday I spent a few minutes trying to find good examples of building
footprint and addresses and did not find anything. Do you have a
recommendation of a geographic area that actually looks good already?
I checked London, Berlin, New York City. They were all as bad as
Corvallis. There are what appear to be hand drawn areas that correspond
more or less to buildings visible in Bing aerial photos. I did not see
any with tags indicating address. A few had tags with building names. As
I say, I checked briefly so maybe I am looking for tags in all the wrong
places.
I think OSM is still on the runway getting ready to take off and it's
fun and exciting to be involved.
