The French imports are showing an enormous speed. They're manual as well, but in practice, not everyone one looks at the data against the imagery as is shown by the sheer speed at which its done. DC too, we never actually checked the buildings (honestly). And when we did import things vis josm, we messed up. That's why the parking lots were such as mess. So the feeling was: 1. If no one checks this stuff in practice 2. If doing this manually causes problems 3. If people are being asked to do rote tasks with no thinking Why bother having a human being do it? Alex, is there a reason you think it's better if people do it? - Serge _______________________________________________ Imports-us mailing list [email protected] https://lists.openstreetmap.org/listinfo/imports-us
