Hey Portland Importers,

I've been reviewing your code and import procedure since I learned about
the import at SOTM. Just want to say it looks really solid! It will be nice
to get more address and building polys on the map.

I do have a couple of suggestions that you may want to incorporate into
your import schedule, based on what the NYC import team learned.

The first is to use something like the HOT tasking manager. It has its
drawbacks but it makes it much easier to see what people are doing and to
monitor how fast people are importing data. Spreadsheets are also a
possibility but make it much harder to monitor users quickly. The HOT
manager also serves the dual purpose of two step validation. During the NYC
import this proved immensely useful, especially early on. Many of the
errors and bugs that were discovered were discovered through this second
set of validation.

You might also want to put some text to the effect that using separate
account for the import is required.

Finally, you should choose what you want to do with POIs early on. Are you
going to merge them to address nodes, merge them into the buildings, or
just leave them alone? We made many small decisions like this and compiled
it into a doc - (https://github.com/osmlab/nycbuildings/wiki/Common-issues)
so that all contributors could have a standard operating procedure. This
made sure everyone was on the same page about editing.

Hope these suggestions help!

Cheers,
Nicholas Ingalls
