Agreed. Small data sets from local contributors are what OSM is all about.
Discussions about imports need to be had when the volume of data exceeds
that which can be manually reviewed and verified. Or if you have questions
about converting some data from another format to OSM, I'm sure someone
would be happy to help on that front.
