I'm getting ready to upload the bus data. It seems some people already started putting in some bus data (there are 109 that look to overlap my data), is there a way to update/delete these/make them invisible? While some of them look to just be out dated dumps from massgis others look to have work put in. (for reference there are 8057 stops that I'm about to upload)

A little background on why we might seem reluctant to take your data: OSM doesn't have any good "merge" tools yet, so taking newer data and trying to mix it with existing OSM data is a monumental task. Adding/merging in point data like bus stops would be quite a bit easier than trying to handle vector data like roads and rivers/lakes (for example). I think the best you can do right now is to make as much data available as you can in a format that is easily parseable (e.g. shapefiles or GeoTIFFs) and eventually one of us will figure out how to apply it to existing OSM data. Unfortunately the majority of the people that actually hack on OSM code are quite busy in real life, so it takes a long time :). Thank you very much for offering all this data! It is true that Potlatch doesn't do WMS natively but there are simple (http://thinkwhere.wordpress.com/2010/07/15/whoots-a-small-wms-to-tile-proxy-wms-in-potlatch/) and more elaborate (http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Tirex) ways of serving a WMS as tiles for consumption by Potlatch.
