I should start by saying I only jumped in in the middle of the project to help Clark with the data. I've never even been to Ottawa. I had assumed that some due diligence had already taken place, like checking for existing data etc. If it were my project, I would have ran the query, got the existing data, and compared that before even posting anything here. And I was wrong to say it was a "few clicks." That is never true. :) If the data was conflated, verified, and accurate, it would be, but there'd be much work (and clicks) to get to that point. Clark: Definitely write up a wiki on http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Main_Page. Detail the source of the data, licenses, community support and how to tackle existing data.
